The peak tourist times are between Victoria Day (late May) and Labour Day (early September). The spring and autumn months have less crowds and lower prices however it is worth knowing that some of attractions may be closed during this time.

The top tourist spot within Canada is Niagara Falls; this fall sits on the international line between Niagara Falls, New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario.  The site was formed tens of thousands of years ago and is now famous for its natural beauty as well as for the power of its water. Its strength has enabled Niagara Falls to become a source of hydroelectric power which aids Canada in its attempt to preserve its natural environment.

Kelowna is a popular tourists resort and is famous for its fruit-growing and lumbering. There is also plenty of wine-making within the area; you are able to stroll around the vineyards and participate in tours where you can learn about and taste the country’s fruits. Two of the major wineries within Kelowna also have their own wines on display for people to purchase.

Lake Louise is perfect for those who are looking for a quiet retreat away from the stresses of their everyday life. You can sail on top of the beautiful emerald lake and observe the surrounding mountainous scenery. There are also plenty of activities to enjoy in areas which surrounds Lake Louise – you can hike and scramble along the mountains and even down-hill ski on the slopes.

Another popular tourist area is Quebec as it is a beautiful location and has deep historical richness. The winding cobbled streets within the Old City take tourists through the seventeenth and eighteenth century buildings. These are intricately designed places with neat gardens and expansive lands. This is also a French city as 95% of the population speak French – this enables you to have a combination of holiday experiences as you can enjoy a Parisian city experience whilst in Canada.
