Streetwise Maps

green up arrow

Streetwise maps are light and easy to carry in a bag or briefcase. They are revised yearly and are color-coded so you can quickly find government buildings, memorials, hotels, museums, colleges and other places of interest.

Best of all, these handy maps are laminated, so they can withstand wet weather and the wear-and-tear of heavy usage.

Each Streetwise is packed with valuable information. A good example is the map of Washington DC. On one side is an area map showing the District of Columbia along with surrounding cities and towns in Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia. There's a Washington DC Metrorail map displaying the major stops, lines and transfer stations. There's also an index of streets, cities, towns, and places of interest.

On the other side is a street map of the southern part of the District of Columbia plus towns across the Potomac like Rosslyn, Clarendon, and Arlington, Virginia. There's also an enlarged, color-coded view of the area around the White House, The Mall, The U.S. Capitol and the Tidal Basin, so you can easily locate the many places of interest in that area.

There are other, more detailed city maps, but if you're visiting a large city, and you want to find the major roads, neighborhoods and attractions, these sturdy maps contain a lot of information and they work very well.
