Families are well catered to at Verdura. With so much open countryside the safe and secure environment is great for all ages and parents can relax knowing that everything has been thought of. People with kids under 4 will find their rooms have been childproofed before they arrive, and pool and beach areas are supervised at all times. There is even a professional babysitting service offered too. The resort can supply everything from highchairs and cots to crayons and even Wii consoles, and as long as you give your child’s details before you arrive the appropriate amenities will be provided on arrival.

Dinning here at the Verdura is as unique as the island of Sicily. There are 4 bars and 4 restaurants for you to choose from and the cuisine on offer is distinctly Sicilian in style. Fresh ingredients from honey, almonds, saffron, lemons and olives can be found in many dishes, and you can enjoy everything from a family seafood barbecue at the Amare restaurant beachside to an a la carte dinner at the La Zagara. The resort has its own extensive wine cellar too which is stocked with a number of wines from Sicily, Italy and around the world. Children aren’t forgotten either, and each restaurant has a special children’s menu designed to tempt childish palettes.
